AULRE:UK is anxious to develop links with similar higher education subject associations world-wide. If you are a member of such an organisation, or an academic who would be willing to advise AULRE:UK members on the interface between religion and education in your home country, then we would be delighted to hear from you.

We are of course linked with ISREV (International Seminar on Religious Education and Values). Their website is here.
We have links with EFTRE (The European Forum for Teachers of Religious Education) whose next conference will be in Budapest in 2008. More details from the EFTRE website.
The Alliance of Civilization (AoC) was established in 2005, at the initiative of the Governments of Spain and Turkey, under the auspices of the United Nations. A High-level Group of experts was formed by former Secretary-General Kofi Annan to explore the roots of polarization between societies and cultures today, and to recommend a practical programme of action to address this issue
